Atmosphere
Crippen's is a very lively atmosphere, especially during the dinner hours! We want you to feel like you are a part of our family.You will hear activity on the weekend until about 11:30pm. Hopefully you will be a part of the fun! I always say that "I love my job so much because I get host a party every night!" Even after 14 years in business, I still feel that way.
The Rooms
Our Guest Rooms (left) are quaint and comfortable with either full size, queen or twin beds(convertable to king), 500 thread count sateen sheets and an easy chair or rocker to relax in.
Our Deluxe Rooms (right) are very spacious with king size beds, 500 thread count sateen sheets, sofa sleepers and an easy chair to relax in. Televisions installed in each Deluxe Guest Room.
The Cottage (below left) is perfect for the privacy you need with a cozy parlor, queen size bed, 500 thread count sateen sheets, sofa sleeper, card table, T.V. and coffee maker.
In addition to our friendly service and hospitality our rooms have 1935 original antique, cast iron, claw footed soaking tubs which keep your water hot throughout your entire bath time. All rooms have restored hardwood floors, serta "inn shape" mattresses, wireless fast access internet.
Food Service
Breakfast is served from 8:45 until 10:30 and consists of oven baked quiche and muffins, frosted cinnamon-raisin biscuits, hard boiled eggs, toasted english muffins, fresh orange juice, apple juice, whole milk and kona blend coffee.
Afternoon Wine and Cheese is served in the parlors from 5pm to 6pm.
Have dinner in our Five Star Award Winning Gourmet Restaurant.
Home Baked Cookies are available at the 2nd floor beverage station from 8pm on.
Complimentary Beverage Station serving water, soda, coffee and hot tea.
Amenities
Greenwich Bay Trading Company Amenities offered complimentarily in each room. Bath grains, make-up clothes, shower caps, bubble bath, shampoo, hand & body lotion. Blow dryers and iron and board available upon request.

- Rates are based upon double occupancy.
- Deal Rates are exclusive to specific dates and are not transferable.
- There is a $35 charge for each additional guest (max 2 additional).
- Children under 6 years old accomodated in cottage only.
- All rates subject to applicable taxes.
- Minimum stay may be required on weekends and holidays.
- A deposit of one night's rate per room is required at the time of reservation, for a one to three night stay; for four or more nights and special packages or events, 50% of the total is required at the time of the reservation. Reservations made 14 days or less prior to arrival will be charged in full and are non-refundable. Deposits may be made by credit card or money order.
- Deposits made by credit card are not secured until approval signature is conveyed by fax to 828-295-0388.
- Changes and cancellations require 14 days notice. (30 days notice for certain packages, events and in the month of October)
- Cancellation fee within 14 days is Loss of Deposit
- Cancellation fee within 24 hours is 100%
- $35 administrative fee for deposits cancelled anytime.
- Bad Weather is not considered an exception to cancellation policy.
- Early departure falls with our cancellation policy. There are no refunds for early departure. We reserve the right to treat a partial cancellation as a cancellation for the entire stay.
- Check in time: 3:00pm - 9:00pm.
- Check out time: 11:00am.
- Unless otherwise requested, room reservations are held until 6:00pm on day of arrival.
- No smoking or pets, please.
